Services

We provide boarding, daycare, and grooming services to dogs and cats of all shapes & sizes. We can also provide pickup & drop-off from & to YOUR HOME; we know you're busy, so we can help with transportation to make your life a little easier. We have also been known to provide personalized obedience training. Just give us a shout or drop by to see if there's any way we can help you out with your 4-legged family member!

See the chart below for our rates. You will find that we are quite competitive, but, more importantly, we strive to provide your pet with very personalized service. We maintain a very hands-on approach with your pets; we do everything in our power to ensure that your pet is comfortable, his or her needs are met, and he or she feels loved & appreciated, even if he's just here for a bath!

Dog Boarding

ALL dogs receive the following amenities:

Boarding Amenities
Climate-Controlled Quarters	Climate-controlled quarters with tile floors. Tile floors are more comfortable AND CLEANER than concrete.
Solid Wall Partitions Separating Pets	Because ... even the calmest of pets can be intimidated when the pet next door decides to give yours the "Evil Eye"!
Custom Kennel Selection	We place your pet in a kennel to suit his size, but we are also very mindful of pet temperaments. Extremely timid pets will be placed in smaller rooms where they will be subject to the least amount of commotion. Our facilities are separated into sections which allows us to manage pets with similar dispositions. Come for a tour to see why this works so well. There is no reason for your pet to have a stressful boarding experience!
Piped-in Music	Music is routinely used by better kennel facilities to calm pets and keep them socialized.
5 Potty Runs	YES, that's FIVE!!! We believe - scratch that - we KNOW that your pets need regular stimulation AND bathroom breaks. We religiously run the dogs at 5 intervals during the day: 6:20am, 7:00am (after his breakfast), 11:00am, 4:00pm, and 9:00pm (before bedtime). Each dog is taken to a secured outdoor area to do his or her business, and to romp around and burn off some energy. We DO offer extra one-on-one playtime for a small fee (ask when you book your reservation), but please be assured that we do our best to keep your pet stimulated withOUT asking you for more money.
Covered Runs	We have both covered & uncovered runs and exercise areas. When it rains (like it CAN in Texas!), the dogs can do their business protected from the elements!
Clean Linens for Bedding	We'll keep your pet comfortable, but feel free to bring your own bedding if preferred. We also have Standard & Deluxe Suites that you may book on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Daily Scrub-Down of Quarters	While we don't have many accidents (see above - we ensure that each pet receives FIVE outings), we ensure that all quarters are sanitized daily. Your pet's quarters will be cleaned and his water refreshed while he's on a potty run, so that we don't stress him/her out by messing with his space!
Regular visual checks	For health, comfort and housekeeping.
Meals Twice a Day	Or as directed by you. We WILL HAND-FEED if necessary. We carefully monitor your pet's eating and bathroom habits, and will accommodate any special needs of elderly or recovering pets.
Food Provided	We provide Eukanuba Maintenance, but you are welcome to bring your own food if you prefer to keep your pet on his standard diet.
TREATS!!!	2 treats during the day, and 1 bedtime snack (minimally). We like to spoil pets that are active and slim & trim, so please don't hesitate to tell us YOUR wishes for treats!!!
Medications Administered	All required medications will be administered free-of-charge, INCLUDING injections!
On-Site Resident	We provide apartment accommodations for one or more of our staff members so that we are able to provide the best secured environment for your pets. We also maintain surveillance video just in case Fido pulls a Houdini!!! J

Please note that all pets are inspected upon arrival for boarding. Pets with fleas will be subject to a bath or flea

treatment for an extra charge. Fleas can be a torturous problem in Texas; if left untreated, they can cause Flea Allergy Dermatitis and/or Anemia in your pet. At Happy Pets Inn we are vigilant in keeping our premises flea-free for EVERYONE's comfort! Refer to our Policies for additional regulations that we enforce for our Boarding guests.

Suites - Standard & Deluxe

In addition to our regular kennels, we also offer a step-up in comfort - our suites. Suites are larger than our regular kennels, have glass sliding door enclosures, a window, and are housed in separate sections of our site for maximum sound control. Our Deluxe suites include raised beds for maximum comfort, and TV for extra mental stimulation!

Daycare

We offer flexible drop-off and pickup times for pets you wish to drop off for Daycare (please note that you must arrange times with us, since our front door IS LOCKED outside of our listed Office Hours). Your pet will receive the same amenities as our Boarding pets, but they get to spend the evening with their primary caregiver, YOU! Our Daycare rates are 50% lower than our Boarding rates, because we want you to recognize that you have a safe and economical option for the daily care of your pet. Many behavioral problems in pets are eliminated when they receive sufficient daytime stimulation. But please, don't take our word for it, TRY us for Daycare sometime and see for yourself the positive improvement in your pet. Mention that you read about our suggestion for Daycare on this website, and we'll reduce your fee for your first week of Daycare by 25%!!!

Grooming

Whether it be a brush, bath, or full cut & shave, we will do our best to accommodate your every request! You can request grooming services while your pet boards with us, or you can call anytime to schedule an appointment for grooming. We like to have a half-day with your pet, so use the time to your advantage to run errands and then come back for your transformed pet! We have general rates for grooming, but please appreciate that de-matting can be a very involved process, so we have to charge according to the effort required. We promise that our rates are competitive, and we only charge extra as warranted. Your pet will be rejuvenated with a Hydrosurge bath, and we use top-of-the-line grooming products, including Nature's Specialty shampoos, conditioners and optimizers.

Check-out time is 11:00am - 1/2 day charges apply for pickups later than 11. Courtesy bath for dogs staying longer than 2 weeks. For stays longer than 21 days, a 10% discount will be applied to those additional days. Grooming rates are determined according to the style requested, and the general condition of your pet's coat. Extra charges will apply where de-matting is required.
